32 year old 3D Artist with an interest in computers, sports and “techie” things. When I started using the internet in the mid-nineties, a world of information opened up. Since then I’ve chased information to learn things that I am interest in. I’ve come quite a ways on my journey but as the internet grows continuously I still have a pretty hefty backlog.
I’ve always had an interest in design, an inherited passion from my father who during his active days worked as an industrial designer. From cartoons and video games I drew an interest in telling stories through pictures. However, it wasn’t until later in life that I chose to have it as my profession.
For three years I studied Marketing at university but never felt that was the future for me. In 2008, my good friend and later colleague Sam Brandhildh gave me a call. Knowing I had been studying After Effects on my own he asked me to collaborate with him on an ongoing freelance project. For the next couple of years i worked as a freelance motion designer.
After a half-year stay in Singapore I felt the need to develop my skills so I applied for the Motion Graphics Designer program at Hyper Island. This led, amongst many other things to a 4 months internship at Superfad in LA. For the last couple of years I have worked as a 3D Artist for LEEROY Group.
Lead 3D Artist
Currently I work as Lead 3D Artist at the Leeroy Group Creative Studio department. I’ve had the chance to work with a variety of clients and diverse projects. I have worked on projects creating motion graphics and 3D for digital signage. Other projects have involved interactive motion graphics solutions whole working closely together with our tech and coding department. Telecom giant Telenor has been our biggest client, hence the amount of mobile phone content in my reel.
Motion Graphics Designer/3D Artist
2009-2010 / 2012-2014
4 years of freelancing as motion graphic designer working with diverse clients and projects ranging from Digital Signage to Music Videos and TVCs. Freelancing gave me the chance to find out what kind of projects that I want to work with. To be able to stay attractive on the market I tried to master as many aspects as possible in my field, making me somewhat of a generalist.
Motion Graphics Designer
A Four-month internship at Superfad Los Angeles Office. Pitchmaterial, TV commercials and Channel Graphics. Working with clients such as CocaCola, Skittles, Riot Games and MLB. This was my first contact with a big production studio and a great learning experience. I had the opportunity to work with great people and exciting projects.
Hyper Island Stockholm
One-year program at Hyper Island in Stockholm. Beyond learning a lot about motion graphics the hyper island way of teaching focus a lot on group dynamics and teamwork. I learned a lot about how to handle times of change and complexity as well as receiving the opportunity to work closely with people from the industry, in both real world projects and through workshops and presentations. The Hyper Island way also emphasizes the importance of the creative process, to question your own ideas and to challenge yourself by stepping out of your comfort zone.
Three years at the program for business and economy at Stockholm University. I studied marketing orientation and wrote my thesis on the subject of viral video marketing. Even though this education didn’t lead to my current profession, it still gave me knowledge that I’ve found, and still find valuable in my career. The economical aspects definitely helped me while working as a freelancer. The marketing, branding and communication aspects of the education has given me insights into how companies and agencies think, knowledge makes it easier for me to speak their language and make decision from that perspective.

Been working in After Effects and Photoshop since 2005. Good knowledge of Illustrator and Premiere.
Photography and filming have been an interest of mine for a long time. I shoot mainly on Canon DSLRs such as the 5D Mark III and 7D. Understanding composition, light, exposure and movement have helped me a lot in my work as a 3D artist.
Deep and profound interest in computers and computer science. Know my way around Windows, OSX and Linux. Good understanding of the windows command prompt and OSX terminal. Able to write both batchscripts and applescript. Well read on video compression and codecs to be able to optimize delivery for any platform.
I have a huge interest in sports which is a great way to balance out the hours in front of the screen. I have been playing soccer in various forms since i was 5 years old. In my younger years I played at elite level until I had to choose school before practice. Since then I have tried to quit many times but there is always something that pulls me right back in.
Almost addicted to music and spend a lot of time trying to find new music. Since about one and a half years back it's been 70's and 80's soul and funk that has cought my attention.
I seldom find time to play videogames nowadays but when I do, I tend to dig up some nostalgic casette from the NES or SNES era. "The golden age of gaming".
